My word for 2016

Well folks, that’s it.  The end of #decemberreflections and the end of 2015… See you in the new year!

PS I’m pretty chuffed with myself for managing to post photos for every day of the challenge except two.  Admittedly some where scheduled but that’s the best I’ve ever done with a photo challenge!

My not so secret wish is to move house and get a decent wheelchair (which I can’t do until I have a house with level access, it’s a whole chicken and egg scenario)…

Again, life has got in the way but here’s a photo of my art and craft area in my house:

A secret wish for 2016

Hmm… To learn to read tarot cards. I have literally just started. I got my first deck last week and they are beautiful. My hope is that I can use them as a tool to get to know myself better and access the things which I have pushed into boxes and then hidden deep inside me. I guess my aim is that they will provide a space for reflection similar to that which therapy offers.

2015 taught me…

Or started to teach me… To let go. Let go of full time work. Let go of walking. Let go of struggling to do everything myself. Let go of independence. Let go if dignity. Let go of control. Let go of who comes into my house. Let go of my house.

A mix of having my bank account hacked and york flooding have interfered with photos today. Hopefully back on track tomorrow.
